The GLX-D+ Dual Band System

GLX-D+ Shure dual-band wireless systems are the perfect solution for hassle-free wireless transmission for music and presentations. Everything is managed automatically and absolutely reliably so you can focus on your performance. The new dual-band wireless technology allows GLX-D+ to operate in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, more than doubling the available bandwidth.

Intelligent interference avoidance ensures reliable, uninterrupted audio. The included lithium-ion battery features smart charging technology, up to 12 hours runtime (an improvement over the previous GLX-D generation), can be charged in multiple ways, and supports fast charging. The wireless systems are available with various microphone options (including the Beta 87A) – as tabletop units, in 9.5-inch rack format, and pedalboard format. Combined with a frequency manager and directional antennas (both sold separately), the rack-mount receiver systems are ideal for small to medium installations requiring a high channel count.

GLX-D+ Dual Band transmitters and receivers are not compatible with previous GLX-D or GLX-D Advanced wireless systems.

The GLX-D+ dual-band battery ends unreliable battery life. The new SB904 lithium-ion battery offers up to 12 hours runtime and can be charged directly on the receiver or via a USB-C port on the handheld microphone or bodypack transmitter. A fast-charge feature provides up to 1.5 hours of operation after just 15 minutes of charging.
