Wireless Versatility: Rode Wireless ME Dual!
Ultra-compact, straightforward, and versatile wireless microphone system that’s ready to go right out of the box. Wireless ME Dual is perfect for filmmakers, YouTubers, and other content creators. Both transmitter modules and the receiver module measure just 4x4 cm each, the wireless range reaches 100 m, and the built-in batteries allow up to 7 hours of continuous operation.
The clever part: not only the transmitters but also the receiver has a built-in microphone. If needed, the filmmaker can record their own interview questions, directing cues, or comments off-camera. The built-in miniature condenser microphones deliver crystal-clear audio. Users can also connect an external lavalier mic like the Lavalier GO or Lavalier II to the transmitters.
Use Three Microphones Simultaneously
When using all three microphones at once (2x transmitters, 1x receiver), the two transmitter mics output together on the left channel and the receiver mic on the right channel (split mode). Alternatively, the three signals can be summed and output together (merge mode = dual mono). By default, the receiver mic is disabled. Activating it and selecting the desired mode is done via RØDE Central.
GainAssist Automatic Level Control
The transmitters feature RØDE’s ingenious GainAssist technology, which automatically adjusts the internal preamp to the sound source. This frees you up to focus on other things: distorted, too quiet, or noisy recordings are a thing of the past with Wireless ME Dual.
Flexible Outputs
Besides the analog 3.5 mm TRS output, the receiver also offers a USB-C port to send digital audio to a computer or smartphone/iPhone. All necessary cables are included: 3.5 mm TRS to TRS (for DSLR cameras), 3.5 mm TRS to TRRS cable (for smartphones, analog), two USB-C to USB-C cables (for PC and smartphones, digital), and a USB-C to Lightning cable (for iPhone, digital).
RØDE Central
Level and configuration settings can be adjusted via the free "RØDE Central" software, available for Mac and PC as well as free apps in the Play Store and App Store. Wireless ME Dual is also compatible with the recording/streaming software "RØDE Connect" and the apps "RØDE Reporter" (Android and iOS) and "RØDE Capture" (iOS), all free to download.
