LD Systems U300 Series - Nothing Compares to U!

Developed in Germany, the UHF diversity wireless systems of the U300 series deliver convincing audio performance. They achieve a range of 100 m under ideal conditions and are available for operation in 5 frequency bands: 584 MHz - 608 MHz, 655 MHz - 679 MHz, 823 MHz - 832 MHz + 863 MHz - 865 MHz, 470 MHz - 490 MHz, or 514 MHz - 542 MHz.

Up to six U300 systems can be used simultaneously. For quick, hassle-free wireless connection, a convenient one-touch synchronization of transmitter and receiver via infrared is provided, and the squelch with pilot tone ensures interference-free operation.

The U300 transmitters have an output power of 10 mW and 10 hours runtime with two AA batteries. The handheld microphone’s frequency response ranges from 55 Hz - 16 kHz, and with a low cutoff frequency of 25 Hz, the bodypack is also suitable for transmitting 5-string bass guitars with a low B string.

The bodypack input level can be adjusted in three steps to match active and passive guitars and basses, and the practical standby position of the power switch allows temporary muting.

The U300 receiver features a bright LCD channel display, an LED chain indicating audio signal strength, as well as a balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm jack output. The jack output can be switched to instrument level for direct connection to guitar and bass amps.

The U300 series wireless systems sport a fresh, modern look and are available as vocal sets with receiver and a dynamic cardioid handheld microphone, bodypack and headset, or bodypack and lavalier microphone.

To change the handheld microphone’s pickup pattern, interchangeable capsules from the U500 series can be used. U300 instrument sets are available with bodypack and clip-on microphone for wind instruments or a double-shielded low-capacitance cable for guitars and basses.
