The WMS420 Vocal Set is a powerful, flexible wireless system for vocals and speech. The vocal set includes the SR420 receiver and the HT420 handheld transmitter with a dynamic D5 capsule. The WMS420's ultra-easy operation allows quick setup and commissioning of the wireless system.

The SR420 diversity receiver ensures reliable audio reception. Two removable antennas on the receiver's rear provide maximum flexibility and allow the use of optional antenna accessories. The receiver constantly compares the signal quality of both antennas using advanced algorithms and uses only the strongest signal. That guarantees optimal RF stability without disruptive dropouts.

The HT420 handheld transmitter features a display for the transmit channel and an LED that indicates battery status. With a single AA battery or a NiMH rechargeable battery the system runs up to 8 hours. The gain switch sets the audio sensitivity in two steps. The transmitter also offers a pop-free On/Off/Mute switch. Integrated charging contacts allow direct charging of the transmitter in the optional CU400 charging station, where up to two transmitters can be conveniently charged and stored securely.

Both the SR420 receiver and the PT420 bodypack transmitter operate across a selectable bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. Up to 8 channels can be used simultaneously in the UHF band. The system is also available in license- and fee-free frequency ranges.
