The AKG WMS40 Mini Dual Vocal Instrumental Set consists of a 2-channel receiver, a handheld transmitter, a bodypack transmitter and an instrument cable.
The compact 2-channel receiver features a robust metal housing. It can be used with two transmitters at the same time. Each channel can be adjusted independently and has its own output. The front panel shows control LEDs for power (On/Off), RF reception and overload. The volume controls let you set the level of the 6.3 mm jack outputs. HDAP technology (High Definition Audio Performance) guarantees high audio quality and secure transmission of the audio signal.
The handheld microphone feels comfortable in the hand and delivers solid vocal presence. The capsule in the transmitter has a cardioid polar pattern. The microphone is resistant to handling noise and secure against feedback. An internal windscreen effectively suppresses plosives and wind noise. In addition, the handheld transmitter features a crisp On/Off/Mute switch that is recessed to prevent accidental activation.
The bodypack transmitter is especially small and lightweight. With just one AA battery it operates for up to 30 hours, saving you frequent battery changes and money in the long run. The input sensitivity for the connected microphone or instrument can be adjusted continuously directly on the bodypack.
