The Sub10 MK2 is a powerful active subwoofer that extends the playback range of near- and midfield monitors down to 25 Hz.
A rugged special woofer with long excursion and a high-capacity voice coil has been optimized in a bass-reflex cabinet for precise reproduction. The downward-firing bass-reflex port prevents annoying air noise thanks to generous dimensions and shaping. The PWM amplifier achieves an efficiency of over 90%, so it can handle critical passages for long periods without overheating. An additional output allows cascading any number of subwoofers.
For medium and larger control rooms, this subwoofer offers an excellent combination of low cutoff frequency (-3 dB at 25 Hz) and high undistorted sound pressure level (113 dB SPL at 1 m).
