The MS101-4 is the standard model in Yamaha's line of mains-powered desktop monitors, offering portability in a compact design and simple yet comprehensive features for outstanding ease of use. The MS101-4 ships with a 3/8" thread for direct attachment to a microphone stand, and optional accessories can be added for a wide range of applications.

As Yamaha's smallest active monitor speaker compatible with both line and microphone inputs, the MS101-4 provides the flexibility needed for temporary or permanent use in applications that require simple, compact monitors.
Simple, Portable, Durable Design
With controls (power switch, volume and tone knobs) and the combo jack on the lower front panel, the MS101-4 is simple and easy to operate.
The sturdy metal grille provides full protection for the 4-inch cone driver, while the rear panel features a stereo mini and two TRS phone input jacks plus a power inlet to ensure excellent portability. The bass-reflex port is also located on the rear, resulting in a more compact enclosure.
The MS101-4 delivers a compact, lightweight form that is both portable and rugged.
Absorber Plates
The Pronomic ISO-Stand absorber plates are ideal for placing under studio and nearfield monitors. The foam reduces and damps unwanted resonances and vibrations, noticeably improving your speakers' sound. The Pronomic angled risers optimize the sound not only by reducing structure-borne vibration transmission but also through their two-component design. This wedge construction allows you to position studio monitors at five different tilt angles, enabling you to perfectly align the monitors to your listening position.
