After some research, it became the Macke MR524 in a set of 2 at an aggravated rate, among other things because they are small enough to fit together with the TV on the space belonging to it, and because it has RCA connectors. Thus it fits without adapters to the existing Kabelage (I am Beschaller and try for many years to reduce the number of adapters in the system).
With XLR, TRS, and RCA connectors, the MR524 is easy to integrate into any setup. Bass response can be adjusted depending on the setup, and a diagram explains which setting is for which setup. The tweeter is also variable in three stages. For us, everything remains neutral for now.
Today we set up the speakers. The speakers fit in their intended place and look quite stylish. All EQ settings on the TV and the speakers are in neutral - movies come out with crystal clear dialogue. Streaming ("The Book of Boba Fett" came out today) also sounds great, and the music on the show sounds great too. Then some DVDs with music: Genesis, K's Choice, Led Zeppelin - really unique how it sounds. Every instrument is crystal clear in the mix, the vocals are always clearly in front. Short test of the maximum volume: Not exactly deafening, but still more than enough for our living room or a small studio - and the sound remains clean. Between my old monitors and the Mackie MR524 are then but about 12 years of development, and you can hear that.
According to the manual the frequency response of the MR524 is 57Hz - 20kHz (-3dB) and 45Hz - 20kHz (-10dB) and the maximum level is 108dB/1m. That sounds credible. We will do without a subwoofer for the foreseeable future.
My conclusion: absolute recommendation therefore for the MR524 when it comes to reproducing film sound or hi-fi. Thanks to the clean resolution and the clear but musical reproduction I'm convinced that these speakers also do an excellent job in the studio. And: You can listen to music for a really long time without it getting uncomfortable or tiring your hearing.
