The Wolfmix WING expands your Wolfmix W1 with a powerful control surface for precise lighting control and creative live performances. Eight motorized faders with capacitive touch caps, eight OLED displays and a generous 8 x 5 RGB button matrix put groups, presets and effect parameters right at your fingertips. With the operating modes CUE LIST, CONTROL and MAPPING you create structured show flows, edit individual fixtures and tailor the control to your personal workflow. Whether stage lighting, theater production or live event: this fader wing combines the overview of a classic lighting desk with the flexible capabilities of the Wolfmix system.

Motorized Faders and Displays for Targeted Adjustments

The eight motorized faders feature plated, touch-sensitive fader caps and dedicated RGB light guides. Eight monochrome OLED displays show the assigned parameters, so you stay oriented even when layouts change. A separate main fader controls the overall output. Four encoders, including dedicated SCROLL and FINE knobs, support navigation and fine adjustments. Eight group buttons give direct access to your device groups, while OK/GO, CANCEL and the page buttons put key actions within immediate reach.

CUE LIST for Precisely Planned Show Sequences

With CUE LIST you organize presets to match songs, scenes or acts. Up to 5,000 cues are available in total, spread across up to 100 cue lists with a maximum of 1,000 cues per list. Each cue can combine up to five presets, provided they control different functional areas. Individual fade and hold times, automatic cue changes and MIDI timecode enable tightly coordinated sequences. Alternatively, trigger the next cue with OK/GO or bring it in manually using the motorized faders. Ongoing crossfades can be paused and resumed.

CONTROL and Subgroups for Detailed Lighting Looks

In CONTROL mode you select fixtures via the button matrix and edit their parameters directly with the faders. Dimmer, color, pan/tilt, zoom, iris, focus as well as gobo and prism rotation are available for precise adjustments. Up to 32 individual edits can be stored in a single preset. Group filters and selection macros speed up access to the fixtures you need. Additionally, each of the eight groups can be split into eight subgroups. That lets you control different stage areas separately or, for example, split the beam and the pixel ring of a suitable moving head.

MAPPING for Light, Audio and Video

Four freely assignable pages for faders and matrix buttons turn the Wolfmix WING into your personal control center. Assign dimmers, presets, live edits, effect parameters or cue lists exactly as you need them during your show. Two encoders are also freely assignable. Controls not assigned to Wolfmix functions send and receive generic MIDI messages, letting you integrate compatible external audio and video applications into your control surface. The computer connection uses USB-C; mappings depend on the MIDI support and configuration of the software you run.

Seamless W1 Integration and Expandable DMX Output

The WING works with Wolfmix W1 MK1, MK2 and MK3. A single USB cable handles the connection and powers the connected W1. The WING provides two DMX universes out of the box and can be expanded to four via paid add-ons. Together with a properly unlocked W1, up to eight DMX universes are possible. For physical output the WING offers two 3-pin and two 5-pin XLR DMX outputs that can be freely assigned to the available universes.

Play Without the W1 After Synchronization

You need a Wolfmix W1 for light setup and project synchronization. Once your project is transferred, the WING can then play the light show independently without a connected W1 and without a computer. It can also be used independently as a generic USB-MIDI controller. The ABS housing with a powder-coated steel base plate and VESA mounting provides a practical platform for mobile workstations and permanent control positions.
