The portable MIDI controller Playtronica Playtron can connect and be played with up to 16 objects simultaneously. Depending on the contact surface and intensity, the sound changes. Combined with a cajon, this opens up virtually endless musical possibilities—both live and in the studio or simply for fun.
Connected via USB cable to a DAW, software instruments can be controlled. Playtron reacts like any other MIDI controller, with no noticeable latency. Its unique playing style immerses users in a new musical world and broadens their horizons.
Mix Sounds, Create New Tones and Beats
The possibilities with this set are incredibly diverse. For example, on stage, you can mic the authentic sound of the cajon and mix it with the MIDI sound to create entirely new tones. At home, the unplugged sound of the cajon is enough to experiment musically in combination with the Playtron controller.
The package includes, besides the USB cable and 18 alligator clips (for connecting the Playtron controller), 8 Playtronica adhesive pads and conductive fabric tape. This allows the cajon and various objects you want to incorporate into your performance to become conductive.
