Generates MIDI Signals Through Interaction With “Connected” Plants!
With Playtronica Biotron, plants—or you and your favorite plant—become composers. When the plant’s natural electromagnetic properties change, the sound evolves, creating a unique musical experience every time.
The MIDI controller connects to leaves or stems via alligator clips. By interacting with the plant, such as touching the leaves or moving around it, the electromagnetic changes generate MIDI signals. This instantly transforms your favorite plant into a theremin.
Connected to a DAW via USB-C cable (not included), you can control software instruments or directly link to (desktop) synthesizers. Biotron responds like any other MIDI controller, with no noticeable latency. Its unique playstyle immerses you in a new musical world and expands your creative horizons.
