The Polar 2 from Blackstar is a two-channel audio interface developed specifically for guitarists. As the only audio interface on the market, the Polar features a FET input stage and an Enhance function that emulate the behavior and characteristics of tube amplifier input stages.
The innovative input stage never digitally clips, allowing users to operate the interface like an amplifier. Additionally, Blackstar invested significant time developing the Polar’s preamps, which rival one of the most famous preamps in studio history: the Neve 1081. The Polar 2’s innovative features, combined with an incredibly low noise floor of 115dB, 48V phantom power, and headphone outputs capable of driving both high- and low-impedance headphones, make the Polar the ideal audio interface for any musician recording guitar and audio.
