The new Zoom F1-SP Field Recorder with SGH-6 Shotgun Microphone is the perfect solution for all run-and-gun filmmakers—or anyone who wants to become one.

The SGH-6 Shotgun Microphone is known for its high-quality and hyper-directional recordings. Together with the F1 Field Recorder, you create high-resolution audio files up to 24 bit / 96 kHz and in the highest audio quality! The F1 Recorder also records audio files in WAV or MP3 format. The WAV files are automatically time-stamped, making the Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) compatible.

Easy Setup and Handling

The included shock mount makes attaching to the camera easy. Simply plug it in, connect the stereo cable with the F1 Field Recorder on one side and the camera on the other, and you’re ready to go! For film or music video recording, you can set the Field Recorder to simultaneously create a stereo audio file that can be edited in post-production.

Clear View in Any Weather

The newly developed 1.25-inch monochrome display shows all functions like levels and battery status during filming and is easy to read even in bright sunlight. Using the simple one-touch button control system, you can access and adjust recording level, limiter control, low-cut filter, and volume anytime.

What’s a film without a bit of action? The SMF-1 shock absorber was designed to prevent vibrations that can occur during shooting. So you can run, walk, jump, or do whatever else you want without worry.

The SGH-6 is housed in an extremely lightweight aluminum casing and is therefore almost unnoticeable. Thanks to the microphone connector integrated into the F1 Field Recorder in Zoom’s proprietary format, you can connect all the different microphone capsules Zoom offers, such as the SSH-6, XYH-6, MSH-6, XYH-5, and EXH-6.

The Pronomic RB-Flex bag is made from especially durable, double-spun fabric. This special manufacturing technique guarantees exceptional tear and water resistance. The bag’s generous padding provides the best protection for your instrument.

The bag is specially designed for small handheld recorders but is also suitable for cameras and other electronic devices. Thanks to the option to divide it into up to three compartments, cables, microphones, and other accessories can be stored securely. An additional cover protects the bag especially against moisture.

The bag can be carried either by the handle or with the attachable shoulder strap. A flat outer pocket also offers space for smaller accessories like USB sticks, SD cards, etc.
