The DAVE 12 G4X ends the search. This active compact PA with a 12" subwoofer and two 6.5" satellites (total power: 1460 W Peak) not only features a new, modern design with numerous handling improvements but also an integrated 6-channel mixer with all essential input options. This allows you to create a wide range of setups and combinations from instruments, vocals, and playback devices—wired or wireless thanks to built-in Bluetooth® for easy streaming from a smartphone or tablet.

The first two mixer channels are designed as channel strips. Here you can connect either a microphone, a high-impedance instrument—such as guitar or bass—or line-level sources. For tone shaping, each channel offers a 2-band EQ for bass and treble plus an adjustable reverb with three presets (Small, Large, Plate). Channels 3+4 are stereo line inputs suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, or small e-drum kits.

The DAVE 12 G4X becomes even more versatile when you use the digital SPDIF stereo input or Bluetooth® connection to expand your performance setup with a media player, computer, or smartphone, allowing you to play and control backing tracks, sound effects, or break music. The inputs (channels 5+6) can also be used for a karaoke system or simply to deliver powerful sound from a TV in a sports bar.

Speaking of powerful sound: the DAVE 12 G4X was completely redesigned and developed from the ground up. This benefits not only instruments and music but also speech intelligibility when the PA is used for spoken word applications. The acoustic concepts include new compression drivers and waveguides for a homogeneous and directional radiation pattern, as well as FIR filters and state-of-the-art DSP technology for a transparent, uncolored sound you haven’t experienced from a DAVE before. For example, the subwoofer features a larger voice coil and an optimized bass reflex system to minimize ventilation noise.

Overall, the DAVE 12 G4X is perfectly suited for flexible use. This is supported by selectable mode presets for classic stereo operation or setup with two closely spaced satellites on a T-stand above the subwoofer—the DAVE G4X delivers impressive sound in all configurations. The latter preset enables interference-free clustering of two satellites through a special M/S division and stereo signal playback for more headroom and directivity.
