The DXL1K is a column speaker with a slim enclosure and powerful sound. It can be used as the main speaker in a compact PA system and is also perfect as an extension for a STAGEPAS 1KmkII system.

Despite its lightweight and compact enclosure design, the DXL1K features a powerful 1100W amplifier that drives an HF array with 10x 1.5" drivers and a large 12" subwoofer, delivering a class-leading sound pressure level of up to 125 dB SPL. With an impressive horizontal dispersion angle of 170° and a vertical dispersion angle of 30°, the DXL1K delivers clear, high-quality sound over a wide area.

J-Curve Slim Line Array

The HF speaker array consists of 10 small 1.5" speakers. By using a J-curve array configuration, the high-frequency unit achieves a vertical coverage of 30° over a 170° radius. This allows the DXL1K to deliver clear, high-quality sound over greater distances and project it evenly from front to back into the audience.

Compact Class-Leading 12" Subwoofer

The subwoofer features a 12" speaker unit that is hardly "compact" but actually the largest in its class. Yet, although the DXL1K houses a 12" speaker unit, it has the smallest enclosure on the market for a subwoofer of this size and power. By employing Yamaha’s proprietary Twisted Flare Port technology to reduce air noise that can occur in compact bass-reflex subwoofers, the low-frequency performance is maximized, producing a very deep, powerful, and distortion-free bass.

1100W Amplifier

The 1100 Watt Class-D amplifier module is also a top performer in its class, delivering an impressive 125 dB SPL from the deceptively compact speaker enclosure. High-Quality Polyurea Coating

The lightweight ABS enclosure of the subwoofer is coated with a high-quality polyurea finish to prevent wear during transport. It is light enough to make the system extremely portable, yet robust and scratch-resistant enough to withstand tough conditions.
