This especially applies to the MAUI G3 MIX versions with integrated digital 6-channel mixer. All components are on board and perfectly matched: mixer, effects, dynamics processing, DSP controller, amplifiers, and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is also included.

The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly advanced, extremely powerful, and smart column PA system of premium class with particularly confident audio qualities. It delivers a large, punchy, and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), convincing in all applications: as main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-plus setups, or as a sound reinforcement system at weddings, corporate events, and other occasions.

Speakers

With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX looks especially harmonious. The two aluminum column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer in the MAUI G3 series, enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns house 12 x 3.5" midrange drivers, which, combined with the innovative phase-plug design and the 2 x 1" tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. Additionally, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters carries the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.

The crossover point, the transition between midrange and tweeter speakers, was also carefully designed to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations, making the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: an especially precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° dispersion area.

2 x 1" Tweeters on Curved Waveguide

The new waveguide offers a narrow and precise vertical dispersion of 30°. This ensures that the high frequencies reach the front row of your audience just as well as the back of the venue.

12 x 3.5" Midrange Drivers

The column and midrange drivers of the MAUI G3 are larger than in previous versions, delivering an unprecedented full-range experience.

The subwoofers of the MAUI G3 series have been completely redesigned to produce massive bass from a compact design.

Connections and Operation

The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts via Easy or Expert mode to the user's preferences. The user decides whether to use intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-band fully parametric EQ. A comprehensive effects section offers the full range of reverb, delay, and dynamics processing options. All mixer and effect settings can be wirelessly controlled via the app.

Maui G3 Mix

Everything on board! - With the MAUI G3 Mix versions, you no longer need a separate mixer. The digital 6-channel mixer offers versatile options thanks to mic / Hi-Z / line inputs. This means you can connect microphones, guitars, basses, keyboards, or various playback devices directly and mix and filter the signals. Connecting two MAUI G3 MIX systems via SysLink into a stereo setup doubles the number of available analog inputs. Of course, direct streaming via Bluetooth 5.0 is also available.

The menu control is extremely intuitive thanks to the control panel with LC display and three rotary push-encoders. With just a few steps, you can adjust effects, EQ, dynamics, and monitor signals – even for each individual channel.

Mix App

Remote Control Your Mix! - Get all the settings you can make on the MAUI G3 MIX directly on your smartphone or tablet. With the user-friendly interface of the MAUI G3 MIX app, you always have your mix under control.

The Easy mode is ideal for a quick start: with preset settings and simple adjustments, you can get going immediately. For those who want to dive deeper into their sound, the Expert mode offers advanced features – from detailed filtering to precise control of attack and compressor for each channel.

For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink. In this case, the number of mixer channels doubles, and with the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.

Fill the Room with Sound

The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid speakers. This provides controlled low-mid frequencies to the front and up to 18 dB attenuation at the rear, creating a clean stage sound field.

Super Wide 120° Horizontal Dispersion

Thanks to the line-array arrangement and integrated waveguides on the midrange speakers, the so-called phase plugs, the MAUI G3 offers a very wide and consistent horizontal dispersion of 120°.

Narrow and Precise 30° Vertical Dispersion

The new waveguide provides a narrow and precise vertical dispersion of 30°. This ensures that the high frequencies reach the front row of your audience as effectively as the back of the venue.

Passive Cardioid Column

The two-part passive column of the MAUI G3 has been completely redesigned and refined in many areas. A unique feature of the new column is its passive cardioid design, which allows controlled sound radiation in the lower mid and midrange frequencies.

-18 dB to the Rear

Thanks to its exclusive design, the column offers true cardioid radiation characteristics and provides 18 dB attenuation to the rear between 100 Hz and 1 kHz.

Damping Acoustic Foam

The cardioid behavior of the column is enabled by clever use of damping acoustic foam behind the tweeters and midrange drivers inside the column, as well as precise cutouts in the aluminum housing on the rear side of the column.

Get Ready for Deep Bass

With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and punchily. Using a second subwoofer can boost the bass range by 6 dB and operate in cardioid configuration at the push of a button (preset). Furthermore, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer easily withstands the toughest road conditions.

Want to build a cardioid subwoofer setup? No problem. Just rotate the subwoofer 180° and activate the cardioid setting on the back of the subwoofer.

Automatic Column Detection

With automatic column detection, the subwoofer automatically activates "FOLLOWER" mode when the column is removed and adjusts the DSP settings accordingly.

Ergonomic Handles

The subwoofer is easy to carry thanks to four integrated, ergonomic, and generously sized handles. One handle on top, one on the bottom, and one on each side.

Hidden Handles in the Caps

Additionally, the columns have hidden handles in the caps, providing a good grip when assembling and disassembling the system.

Transport Accessories

MAUI G3 should accompany you everywhere. That’s why we offer optional transport accessories such as a cover for the subwoofer, a shoulder bag for the columns, and a trolley board that lets you roll your system effortlessly into the venue.

Padded Carry Bag for Columns

This padded bag with smooth zipper is made of durable and water-repellent 1680D nylon. Inside, an 8 mm thick padding protects the columns from scratches. Additional protection comes from rubber feet on the bottom of the bag. Two included foam caps fit perfectly on the multipin connectors to protect them from damage and ensure a secure fit in the bag. The bag has two handles that can be connected with a Velcro strap and padding to form a carrying handle. The adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad is ideal for carrying the columns and keeping your hands free for other gear.

Padded Protective Cover for Subwoofer

The padded protective cover made of durable and water-repellent 1680D nylon optimally protects the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer from weather influences and other impacts. The 8 mm thick padded cover slips easily over the standing subwoofer and, together with the optional MAUI 28 G3 CB trolley board, offers comprehensive protection from all sides. Reinforced cutouts including Velcro flap on the sides and top allow the subwoofer to be gripped and transported even with the cover on. The cover also features an outer pocket for storing accessories such as power and XLR cables.
