Powerful Speaker
The SA-15 SUB features a 15" speaker with two bass reflex ports. The cone is driven by a 2" magnet coil, which combined with the 300 watt (RMS) amplifier delivers a maximum volume of 124 dB.
Smart Technology
The subwoofer has two XLR line inputs and two XLR line outputs for signal pass-through. These outputs feature a switchable high-pass filter that removes frequencies below 100 Hz. Additionally, the SA-15 SUB includes a phase switch and a ground lift.
Sturdy Enclosure
The robust 15 mm MDF panels are coated with a durable textured finish. Both sides have large metal handles. Naturally, the speaker flange for optional satellite speakers is made of steel.

Yes, active speakers can be connected directly to the subwoofer using a normal XLR cable. Passive speakers cannot be connected directly to the subwoofer.

I am in possession of a Pronomic TAS-15 Touring system, is this subwoofer comparable or weaker than those of the system?

Tas-15 was designed with 4 woofers for about 300-400 people. I think to compare the two systems directly with each other does not quite fit ... In terms of performance, the woofers should be about the same.

The loudspeaker is active, so the internal ohm values are not significant. The internal woofer operates at 8 ohms. As I said, the speaker is active and cannot be driven by a power amplifier.
