The Omnitronic New BOB Series - One For All!
With the speakers from the BOB series, you get a compact, efficient, and flexible PA system suitable for a wide range of applications. Use it as a fullrange PA for small gigs, as a keyboard or e-drums monitor, as a compact system for DJs, or for installation in hospitality venues. Whatever your plans: BOB always delivers a clear, assertive sound while taking up very little space.

Gigs
The BOB speaker system ensures that you and your guitar are heard in excellent audio quality. Simply mount the satellites on the pole attached to the subwoofer and get started. Never has a gig been prepared faster!
Choose a BOB speaker system to entertain an audience of up to 50 people. In no time, you can mount your boxes on a pole and a tripod stand, allowing you to perfectly aim the satellites at the audience. You can also use BOB as your personal monitor. The "Twin Set" with two BOBs is the perfect package for your performance in front of up to 100 people.
DJ and Party
For small parties, you are ideally equipped with a BOB. Connect the two satellites into a compact mono system with higher sound pressure or separate them in a stereo rig. If the party turns out to be a bigger event, simply connect two BOB subs with a simple stereo cable. Whatever comes: with BOB, you are prepared.

Hospitality, Retail, and Fitness Studio
Up to eight tops can be operated with one subwoofer. This allows you to realize installations, for example in small cafés, fitness studios, or retail stores. With BOB, you remain flexible and can adapt your installation to the size of your room, even if it changes later.
Lectures and Presentations
The BOB system is also excellent for presentations and lectures. In most cases, you only need the basic system for talks and speeches. Simply place the satellites on the subwoofer – and you’re ready to go. Or mount the satellites on a stand to aim the system precisely at the audience.

Desktop Recording and Gaming
Need monitors for work or gaming at your PC? With BOB, you have a reliable 2.1 monitor system. Place two satellites on your desk while the subwoofer hides unobtrusively underneath.
Home Cinema
The BOB speaker system is an excellent alternative to the speakers integrated into your TV. Place the satellites right next to the screen or mount them on the wall with combined stands or wall brackets for a true cinema experience.

Variant Omnitronic BOB-10A Subwoofer White

So, returned the subwoofer and ordered a new (a-value) product. However, it should quickly become apparent that this is in similar condition as the B-ware product.
Condition upon delivery:
Even the "new product" has slight chipping of the outer paint finish, which simply has to do with the fact that the wooden cabinet was not glued/stapled together cleanly. Where there are gaps, the paint (varnish) can crack and shows hairline cracks.
The protective grille was screwed in poorly - one screwdriver wasn't in properly at all. I loosened all screws, removed the grille, filled all holes, pre-drilled and then reattached the grille and screws (longer ones). Especially with a subwoofer, the grille must sit tightly, otherwise it buzzes.
When the subwoofer is switched off (mains switch), a medium-loud hissing noise is heard on both satellite channels - although all volume controls are turned down to minimum.
The amplifier (for the satellites) is very noisy - probably the built-in DSP is to blame (which probably also produces the hissing when switching off).
The cabinet is (on the assembly side) not well made: More or less glued and stapled. Stable it is, but more paint will flake off, as I see it.
As for the sound, I can only say that the subwoofer is o.k. - puts up moderate pressure, but can be useful for a rehearsal room. I have used other tops (no Omnitronic), here you can hear but that the integrated crossover already separates quite far "above", so as not to endanger (when connected) the small - recommended for this - Omnitronic tops.
All in all I would have expected more quality (workmanship), because 320,- Euro are not little money.
For rehearsal room or light sound reinforcement o.k. For professional (even smaller) sound reinforcement I would not recommend this subwoofer rather.
