12" Active Subwoofer with 900 Watt Power and DSP!

The Alto Professional TX12S is a powerful and affordable solution for producing bass that shakes the floor in small to medium-sized rooms. This subwoofer is perfect for musicians and small business owners looking to upgrade their rehearsal or intimate event space. It extends the low frequencies of nearly any PA speaker with authority, delivering a sound experience that’s both audible and palpable. This unit is not only budget-friendly and versatile but also designed with user-friendliness in mind – the TX12S is easy to set up and built to last.

Sound Performance and Reliability

Thanks to a 12" driver with a 2" voice coil, the TX12S can handle the nuanced, deep bass frequencies that often get lost when using standard full-range speakers. The powerful built-in 900 W amplifier features overload protection, ensuring the lows stay clean and clear even at full volume.

Multiple Output Modes

One of the TX12S’s standout features is its two distinct Live and Music EQ sound modes and selectable low-pass filters. This lets users switch the subwoofer’s frequency response to seamlessly blend with any speaker it’s paired with and the music being played. These streamlined, no-fuss controls adjust the EQ at the push of a button, so you don’t have to wrestle with complicated, layered settings.

Optimized for Durability and Performance

The TX12S is built to withstand heavy use. The subwoofer’s enclosure is made from fiberboard that’s durable and resonance-free, even enhancing the unit’s acoustic properties. Additionally, this subwoofer and all other TX series products are designed and tuned in the USA.

Question by Seidemann Siggi on 19.02.2026

Dear Team,

Question about the LPF: If, for example, you set the LPF to 100Hz, does that mean that the outputs are transmitted to the tops from 100Hz, and the sub only works up to 100Hz? Or does the sub work up to 100Hz, but the outputs to the tops are not subject to this filter? Thank you.

Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:

The signal that can be tapped at the through outputs remains unaffected by the LPF settings of the sub and is forwarded at full range. The LPF settings only limit the subwoofer itself.
