Active Stage Monitor Speaker from RCF!

The RCF NX 915-SMA is a stage monitor designed for PA providers, musicians, bands, and DJs. The combination of a 1.75" compression driver, a 15" woofer, a 2-channel amplifier with 2100 W, and the TRW Waveguide ensures consistent 100° x 70° coverage of the listening area with up to 131 dB SPL of distortion-free sound.

Whether used as a stage monitor, stand-alone speaker system, or as a satellite with a subwoofer: the compact NX 915-SMA is powerful and reliable. All models in the NX 915-SMA series feature precisely tuned FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control algorithms for absolute transparency and extensive, powerful bass reproduction. The robust, tour-ready wooden enclosure is easy to transport and set up on stage or on a pole.

Power That Moves

RCF transducers are continuously optimized – as are the amplifiers. With 2100 W output, the 2-channel Class-D amplifier of the NX 9 series is 50 percent more powerful than its predecessors, delivering impressive sound pressure levels with ultra-fast attack and natural transient response while minimizing heat loss.

The NX 9 speakers are so energy-efficient that they require no cooling fan. Instead, the amplifier is mounted at the rear of the enclosure to a fixed heat exchanger with no moving parts. The signal input path is optimized for low distortion and includes an advanced limiter for additional protection, preserving the tonal characteristics of the input signal at all levels. All NX 9 amplifiers comply with maximum safety standards (EN62368-1) and are powered by a highly efficient, ultra-lightweight switching power supply.

Bass Motion Control

To achieve extended bass response and more power, the development team replaced the standard high-pass filter with a cutting-edge technology called BMC (Bass Motion Control) to control woofer excursion. The BMC-equipped speaker handles even the lowest audible frequencies without compromising woofer stability – delivering a linear, extended bass range and balanced sound.

Robust and Tour-Ready

The NX 9-SMA speakers shine as FOH systems and floor monitors alike. Thanks to their versatility, they are the perfect choice for a wide range of live sound applications. The sturdy wooden enclosures are easy to transport thanks to ergonomic aluminum handles. A steel pole flange allows vertical mounting on a stand or subwoofer pole.

The speaker cabinet is made from high-quality birch plywood, with individual layers bonded using a special adhesive. This makes the enclosure waterproof from the inside out, even before it is coated with a special polyurea finish that provides high scratch and impact resistance.
