The AZX series from Omnitronic stands for great sound at a fair price and targets anyone seeking robust, reliable speakers with balanced performance. Thanks to their well-thought-out, multifunctional design, the cabinets are extremely versatile: whether as a powerful party PA, in youth centers, for your band's live gigs or for mobile DJ use. The tops in the series can be mounted on AZX subwoofers directly via the dual flange at both 0° and 5° angles on a stand or using an M20 distance pole. Flying is also possible, or they can be used as a floor monitor. With a wide selection of active and passive models, the series suits live and DJ applications as well as fixed installations in small clubs or youth centers. The entire range features sturdy 15 mm MDF enclosures with a durable textured finish. Acoustic foam behind the metal grilles reliably protects the components and creates a cohesive look—without acoustic drawbacks.

The AZX-212A is an active 2-way top with a 12" woofer and a 1.35" compression driver as the high-frequency unit. The integrated Class-D biamp amplifier delivers 200 Watts for the low end and 50 Watts for the high end, providing punchy reproduction and ample dynamic headroom. The frequency range of 55 to 20,000 Hz and the 95 dB sensitivity allow precise full-range playback—ideal for speech reinforcement, live music, DJ events and installations.

Proven Technology, Flexible Handling

The rear panel offers XLR/6.3 mm inputs, a link XLR output and controls for level, highs and lows. Additionally, an HF-trim switch allows subtle high-frequency attenuation. With M10 rigging points, a 35 mm pole flange and a rugged MDF enclosure, the AZX-212A is flexibly mountable—and can even be used discreetly as a floor monitor when needed. At around 19.15 kg it remains transport-friendly and easy to handle thanks to its dimensions.
