The JBL PRX908 is part of the PRX900 series of active speakers and subwoofers. The series elevates professional mobile PA systems to a new level with modern acoustic features, comprehensive DSP, unmatched power and durability, and full Bluetooth control via the JBL Pro Connect app.
The PRX900 series is a versatile solution for professional DJs, bands, clubs, and rental companies or anyone needing durable, professional systems that deliver powerful sound in any mobile or stationary application.
The active 8" two-way speaker was completely redesigned to leverage JBL’s latest acoustic innovations. A next-generation driver system powered by an ultra-efficient Class-D amplifier delivers clarity and definition at maximum volume, with improved dispersion and extended low-frequency response.
Convenient Control via Color Display or App
The extensive DSP, operated via an integrated color display or the JBL Pro Connect app, features a parametric 12-band EQ for system equalization and detailed sound shaping. Built-in dbx DriveRack technology includes automatic feedback suppression (live and fixed), a limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy circuit, delay, and various presets.
The JBL Pro Connect app offers full hardware and DSP control of up to ten speakers. PRX900 series models can be integrated into projects with other JBL speakers like the JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700, featuring exclusive functions such as snapshots and grouping.
Rugged Construction - Built for Touring
The system is designed for tough on-the-road use. The composite enclosure features computer-calculated internal bracing, increasing cabinet stiffness and improving acoustic properties and durability.
Speaker Stands Made of Sturdy Steel
The practical stand ensures a secure footing for your speakers with its stable tripod design, whether on stage, in rehearsal rooms, or clubs. Various adjustment options guarantee maximum flexibility in positioning, and an additional metal pin secured with a nylon strap on the stand provides extra protection against accidental speaker falls.
