JBL PRX835W - Active PA Speaker with DSP and Wi-Fi!

The JBL PRX835W is a 3-way, bi-amped speaker delivering 1,500 watts. The integrated bi-amp power module provides a total of 1,500 watts and features a DSP with full controller functions. These can be configured individually via Wi-Fi and the PRX Connect App. Thanks to the horn-loaded midrange section with a 6.5" driver, the JBL PRX835W achieves extremely high speech intelligibility and a very precise dispersion pattern.

The EQ setting can be switched between "Normal" and "Boost" depending on the application and the type of signal. Further features include two inputs, each with XLR, 1/4" (TRS) and phono connectors, as well as a switchable XLR output to pass the input signal. Input sensitivity is switchable between mic and line.

Given its high power, the JBL PRX835W is also suitable as a standalone system for applications with high SPL requirements. Typical uses include any sound reinforcement where high expectations for speech or vocal intelligibility exist. Thanks to the PRX835W's very precise dispersion, even acoustically challenging rooms can be covered well without exciting unwanted reflections.

The JBL PRX835W is equipped with a high-quality Dual Coil Drive chassis, a specially developed neodymium tweeter and very efficient digital power amplifier circuits.

The trapezoidal enclosure is made from sturdy multiplex plywood and finished with JBL's durable DuraFlex coating. The front grille is powder-coated steel backed with acoustically transparent fabric, effectively protecting the components from mechanical impact.
