HK Audio Sonar 115 Xi - exceptionally bass-strong multifunction speaker with outstanding features!

The active SONAR Xi models are designed as full-range speakers for stand-alone use, front PA, stage monitors, or as powerful mid-high units in subwoofer/satellite systems. Their elegant yet robust plastic housings are built to withstand years of "on the road" use without complaint. A steel grille with acoustic fleece backing protects the speakers from rough mechanical impacts, dust, and splashes.

The clever tilt-adjustable pole mount, adjustable at the push of a button, allows optimal sound projection towards the audience. Thanks to the angled cabinet design, SONAR Xi models can also be used lying down as monitors, and the M10 rigging points simplify ceiling mounting in clubs and pubs.

Still comfortably portable, the SONAR 115 Xi translates the extra volume and power of the large 15" woofer into higher volume and especially fat bass punch. This makes the SONAR 115 Xi the ideal solution for DJs, fitness studios, and entertainers with keyboards or playbacks who don’t want to use an additional subwoofer. The high efficiency also makes the SONAR 115 Xi a particularly powerful top unit in band PAs when paired with subwoofers.

Intuitive Control via Color Display

The built-in digital mixer offers two channels for microphone or line signals plus an AUX channel, which can receive signals both analog and via Bluetooth® 5.0—even simultaneously! The mix out is used to feed additional speakers or can serve as a source for live recordings.

Each of the three channels features its own volume control and a fully equipped 3-band EQ. Additionally, three sound modes are available (Live, DJ, Monitor) as well as a preset for use with the SONAR subwoofer. The mixer includes a master volume control that also operates the DSP menu.

Thanks to Bluetooth® TWS (True Wireless Stereo), stereo audio streaming over two SONAR Xi models is seamless. Two paired SONAR Xi units can be remotely controlled simultaneously via the remote app.

Remote Control App for iOS and Android

The SONAR REMOTE app for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones offers much more than just remote control of the built-in digital mixer. It enables control of all settings and functions of the SONAR Xi models, including the 3-band EQ parameters per channel. Scenes can be saved to quickly recall frequently used presets, such as adjustments for commonly used microphones, changing SONAR Xi setups, or basic tuning for different venues.

All settings made in the app are simultaneously displayed on the SONAR Xi’s screen—and vice versa. Both displays synchronize in real time.

The robust yet elegant plastic housing also looks great at demanding events. The clever, push-button adjustable pole mount allows the SONAR 115 Xi to be quickly and effectively aimed at the audience. Two ergonomic handles ensure comfortable handling during transport and setup.

Two channels can be configured for microphone or line signals, plus an AUX channel that processes signals via mini-jack and wirelessly via Bluetooth® 5.0. "True Wireless Stereo" correctly distributes the Bluetooth® signal for stereo setups. Volume and 3-band EQ per channel are intuitively adjusted via rotary knobs and color display. All functions can also be conveniently controlled remotely via the free SONAR REMOTE app (iOS and Android).

The practical stand ensures a secure base for your speakers with its stable tripod construction, whether on stage, in rehearsal rooms, or clubs. Various adjustment options guarantee maximum flexibility in positioning, and an additional metal pin secured with a nylon strap on the stand prevents accidental speaker falls.
