The Alesis Strike Amp 8 MK2 is a powerful, bi-amped speaker specifically designed for electronic drums. With an output power of 2000 watts, it gives you plenty of headroom for almost any performance or rehearsal. The robust 8" woofer and 1" high-frequency compression driver are tuned to deliver the most accurate and authentic reproduction of your instrument’s acoustic and electronic drum sounds across the entire spectrum. The Strike Amp 8 MK2’s performance is exceptional, with a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB SPL and a frequency range from 52 Hz to 20 kHz—wide enough to convey the full rumble of your kick drum to the crystal-clear snap of your snare and hi-hats.

All the Connections You Need—Including Bluetooth

The Strike Amp 8 MK2 features two XLR + 6.3 mm jack combo inputs for connecting your electronic drum kit and/or a multipad instrument, each with its own volume control. You can also wirelessly connect a mobile device via Bluetooth to stream music during rehearsals or set breaks. Additionally, there’s an XLR output to connect additional speakers or send your Strike Amp’s signal to a front-of-house mix.

Adapts to Any Stage and Room

On stages and in rehearsal rooms, low frequencies from different instruments can easily clash, causing a dense and muddy sound. The Strike Amp 8 MK2 includes a HPF EQ switch that lets you quickly cut problematic frequencies and ensure your tone sits perfectly in the mix. Unwanted electrical noise can also be a common issue; the Strike Amp 8 MK2’s ground-lift switch eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

Road-Ready, Lightweight Design

The Strike Amp 8 MK2 is rugged yet lightweight and easy to transport (15.7 kg), making loading in for gigs or rehearsals easier than ever. While you can use the Strike Amp 8 MK2 in its intended wedge position, its versatile design also allows it to be placed upright or mounted on a stand, making it easier to direct the sound where you need it—especially helpful for outdoor gigs or other venues with limited PA backline.
