The PreSonus EarMix 16M Personal Monitor Mixer is a professional monitoring solution for stage, studio, and fixed installations. With 16 channels over an AVB network, this system gives you maximum flexibility and control over your personal mix. Each musician can tailor their own sound precisely—independent from the FOH mix. Thanks to high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz signal processing, first-class D/A converters, and a powerful headphone amplifier, you’ll get a clear, punchy, and detailed sound at all times.

Maximum Control for Your Personal Mix

Each of the 16 channels features a precise 3-band EQ with a parametric mid band. A limiter is available on every channel as well as on the master. This lets you shape your monitor mix optimally while reliably controlling level peaks. Features like channel grouping, solo, and mute provide clear, fast operation—even in complex setups.

Powerful Sound for Stage and Studio

The built-in headphone amplifier delivers enough power even for low-impedance in-ear monitor systems. With an output power of 150 mW per channel at 60 ohms and a dynamic range of 115 dB, the EarMix 16M impresses with transparent, low-distortion reproduction. The frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz ensures balanced, detailed sound—perfect for professional applications.

Flexible, Expandable, and Network-Ready

Thanks to AVB network connectivity, the mixer integrates seamlessly into StudioLive Series III systems. Two AVB Ethernet ports enable flexible setups and expansion. The unit also provides balanced line outputs and a stereo aux input via 3.5 mm jack. Up to 16 scenes can be stored directly on the unit and recalled at any time—ideal for changing shows or studio sessions.

PoE: Remote Power for Network Devices

The EarMix 16M can be powered either by the included external power supply or via the Ethernet cable used for the AVB network connection. With PoE (Power over Ethernet), both the digital audio data and the supply voltage can be transmitted over a single cable. The system is compatible with any PoE-capable AVB switch. In combination with a PreSonus SW5E 5-port AVB switch, multiple EarMix 16Ms can be connected to the AVB network and powered via PoE.
