The new ZED60-10FX builds on our best-selling ZED-10FX and features premium 60mm faders for an intuitive, tactile mixing experience. Whether live or in the studio, the ZED60-10FX is an ultra-portable mixer for solo artists and small bands.
This mixer is every guitarist's dream. Two of the four mono channels feature high-impedance jack inputs that accept a normal line level or a low-level signal from a guitar pickup, so guitars can be plugged straight into the mixer without a DI box. These inputs are designed to reproduce the sound of a classic tube preamp in a combo or head amp, delivering incredible definition and warmth. Two stereo inputs are provided for MP3/CD players or keyboards.
The ZED60-10FX offers configurable USB audio inputs/outputs, letting you easily record a stereo take at a gig or in the studio. The mixer features professional XLR stereo main outputs, a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker outputs, and 16 impressive effects. Most importantly, the ZED60-10FX meets the audio and build-quality standards that have made Allen & Heath one of the most trusted names in professional audio for over 40 years.
USB Audio Flexibility
Transferring audio to and from a computer is a common requirement for live sound and music production these days. The way ZED handles it is extremely flexible and simple to use. You no longer have to fumble around the back of your PC hunting for soundcard inputs only to find the levels wrong and too hot. Just connect a USB cable to your ZED, set the USB routing on the mixer and select the device on your computer — that's it. CD-quality audio to and from your PC or Mac. Switches and jack connections provide different send/return configurations:

MusiQ
The ZED60-10FX offers a responsive British-style 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid frequency that's prized for its musicality, even when you apply extreme creative or corrective equalization. All EQ controls have been carefully calibrated for feel and smooth, precise adjustment.
ZED-FX
The ZED60-10FX provides a compact selection of 16 delay and reverb effects aimed at small groups who don't want to carry external effects units but still want high-quality effects for their gigs and recordings. Our DSP engineers worked hard to develop and refine beautiful reverb algorithms that enhance any performance. You won't find effects of this quality and integration at this price anywhere else — it's unique to ZED-FX. ZED effects are easy to control via three buttons with nine indicator LEDs. For example, you can quickly dial in the ideal delay time or choose the perfect ambience for the lead vocal. One-handed navigation and editing — it's as simple as using stompbox pedals.
Guitar DI
The preamps in the ZED60-10FX resemble those in our MixWizard mixer series but with some differences. Inputs 3 and 4 feature a high-impedance jack that accepts either a normal line level or a low-level signal from a guitar pickup. These newly designed inputs were created to replicate the tone of a classic guitar or instrument tube preamp in a combo or head amp.
An extremely high input impedance ensures minimal loading of the pickups, and a 48V-powered Class-A FET circuit (field-effect transistor) is used to preserve a valve-like gain stage. A gain-boost switch on the guitar inputs raises the gain by 26 dB to accommodate very low-level instruments. The overdrive behavior of the guitar inputs closely resembles that of a valve (tube) circuit, with an asymmetric, smooth character.
