Praised by both seasoned engineers and beginners alike for its simplicity, quality, and numerous inputs, the WZ4 16:2 is a true all-purpose mixer with 16 high-quality microphone/line inputs in a compact, straightforward format that has made it a perennial favorite.

The WZ4 16:2 features a 4-band EQ with 2 parametric mids, premium 100-mm faders, 6 Aux sends, 12-segment bargraph metering, and the unique QCC locking system for easy mounting on tables, racks, or flight cases.

New to this 4th generation MixWizard console are two newly developed digital FX engines with 20 studio-quality FX presets and EQ in/out switching.

Clear, Functional Lines and Innovative Connection Technology from Automotive Engineering

The PerformanceLine by Gäng Case is not riveted like conventional cases; instead, all profiles are fully glued with 6.5 mm thick panels. The adhesive used easily withstands extreme temperature variations, mechanical stress, and weather influences. Thanks to the special automotive-grade glue, the PerforLine cases stand out visually from other cases and are significantly more stable and much lighter. Additionally, all wooden interior parts (such as cable compartment stops) are protected with an almost indestructible black PU coating.

Independent Design

The innovative connection technology eliminates virtually all annoying rivet heads and rivet mushrooms. This creates a clean design that perfectly combines functional and aesthetic qualities. In practice, the concept fully convinces: mixer tables no longer get scratched, and your clothes won’t get caught anymore!

Function

The self-centering male/female locking profiles provide a perfect fit between lid and base, and the cases look incredible with the rounded 25mm edge protectors. The stackable ball corners feature screwed sliders made from selected plastic with reduced wear for both surface and slider. Since these are integrated directly into the ball corners, they transfer stress directly to the extremely sturdy frame. Moreover, the sliders are easy to replace if damaged.
All butterfly latches are self-opening and locking—a spring pushes the opened latch outward. This completely eliminates annoying catching.
