RØDE M3 - Condenser Microphone for Voice & Instruments!
The RØDE M3 is an utterly rugged and highly flexible condenser microphone for field and home recording as well as professional PA. Its all-metal body and heat-treated steel wire grille guarantee maximum mechanical durability.
The on/off switch has three positions: push it fully up to engage an 80 Hz high-pass filter (-12 dB/oct.) to eliminate unwanted low-frequency handling and footfall noise right at the microphone. Unscrew the lower housing sleeve to access the battery compartment and a three-position mini-switch that lets you engage the pad if needed (-10 dB or -20 dB).
The M3 can be powered either by 48V phantom power or a 9V block battery. On battery the M3 can run for at least 200 hours off-grid. Sonically the M3 stands out with a full frequency response and the characteristic gentle presence boost of RØDE. Because the M3 is designed to be spoken into from the front and is relatively insensitive to handling noise, it can also be used as a reportage or announcement microphone.
The package includes a mic clip (RM3), a foam windshield (WSM3) and a carry case (ZP1). The M3 is manufactured by RØDE in Australia. Registered users receive a 10-year warranty.
