Balanced Sound
The DM-58 features a very harmonious frequency response, ensuring excellent speech intelligibility and brilliance. Using an equalizer is usually hardly necessary. Its good transient response places vocals and speech clearly in the mix, and the integrated pop filter in the grille minimizes plosives (P, B, T, etc.) and wind noise in advance, often eliminating the need for a high-pass filter.
