Anyone aiming for high-quality recordings hardly gets around using a microphone shock mount. Since large-diaphragm mics—as typically used in studios—are very sensitive to low-frequency footstep noise, these microphones are mechanically decoupled from the mic stand using a shock mount.

Simple Design with Big Impact

Because the microphone holder is fully rubber-mounted, vibrations from the mic stand barely reach the microphone capsule. This results in significantly better speech and vocal recordings than with a conventional mic clip. A small trick with huge effects.

Robust Construction

The sturdy frame made of 6mm thick steel suspends two rubber bands that elastically hold the microphone clip. The clip itself opens with two large arms to insert the microphone. A thin foam rubber insert protects the mic from accidental scratches. The 5/8" thread allows mounting the shock mount on any standard microphone stand.

Includes Pop Filter

In addition to the shock mount, a pop filter with a 15 cm diameter is included. The filter, double-layered with black nylon, reduces popping and sibilance noises and significantly improves speech clarity.
