Innovative Aluminum Voice Coil

The new DMC7 capsule was specially developed for capturing vocals and speech. Thanks to the innovative and unique aluminum voice coil, the V7 delivers a very fresh, open sound. It enables a natural reproduction of your voice, and the balanced tone makes the sound engineer’s job easier. The supercardioid polar pattern and the refined acoustic design of the capsule help your voice cut through other instruments and signals on stage and allow for very high feedback resistance.

Patented Integrated Suspension

The new patented suspension effectively decouples the capsule from the housing, significantly reducing handling noise, footfall noise, and rumble. This ensures your voice always stays front and center, even during energetic stage performances.

Durable Metal Housing and Anti-Roll Protection

The housing consists solely of solid metal parts—no sensitive plastic components. The grip is made from proven zinc-aluminum die-cast parts that withstand the highest stresses. The long-lasting microphone grille is made of high-quality spring steel and is resistant to deformation and corrosion. The beveled edges along the grille prevent the microphone from rolling away on flat surfaces such as the stage floor or your guitar amp.

Internal Windscreen

The red internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted wind and pop noises (e.g., from consonants or plosives). If you prefer a black windscreen, the V7 also includes one.

Gold-Plated XLR Contacts

The gold-plated XLR contacts ensure maximum reliability and permanently prevent any kind of corrosion.

The proven neodymium magnets, tight manufacturing tolerances, and high build quality enable outstanding sound quality as well as high sensitivity and durability.

Thanks to its very balanced, neutral tuning, the V7 allows you not only to mic vocals but also to capture a wide range of other sources, such as electric guitar speaker cabinets, brass instruments, drums, and choirs—both on stage and in the studio.

Microphone Stand

Thanks to the locking clamp with metal insert in the base, the MS-116 offers secure stability. There is also a locking clamp on the boom arm, which reliably holds the boom with minimal effort while protecting the tube. A double rubber washer clamp with metal insert is mounted on the joint, allowing easy adjustment with little force while providing strong clamping power and minimal wear.

XLR Cable

Stage Pro-Line cables use only oxygen-free copper, ensuring durable, consistent quality and protection against corrosion. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature strain relief with clamping sleeves, so the solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from footfall noise and electromagnetic interference, such as from power supplies and power cables. This guarantees low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.
