Due to Newton's laws of leverage, the mounting shifts the center of gravity of the instrument.
Since Corona we know that with queer flutes sound and aerosols come out at the sound hole,
so better models are mounted closer to the mouthpiece.

Questions about product
Question by JoSch on 18.11.2025
Hi, does the MCM-100 necessarily need a phantom power supply, or could I also connect the micro directly to a small loudspeaker box using a jack adapter, which would then amplify the input signal from the acoustic guitar?
The background to my question is the idea of being able to amplify a small acoustic touring guitar outdoors without having to lug around a lot of equipment.
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Yes, the MCM-100 requires phantom power. You must therefore connect it via XLR. Either to a mobile box that outputs phantom power or with an intermediate, battery-operated phantom power adapter (e.g. the following device: https://www.kirstein.de/Mikrofonzubehoer/Mackie-M48-Phantomspeisegeraet.html )
Question by Francisco José Gonzalez Rodriguez on 21.08.2021
Phanton power is provided by the XLR adapter? If so, does this adapter need batteries? What type of batteries does it take?
Or do you have to connect the XLR adapter to a mixing console that provides the 48v?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The XLR phantom power adapter must be connected to a mixing console that can output 48V phantom power.
