The Rockabilly Microphone Classic of the 50s!
The Pronomic DM-66 microphone is the ideal stage mic for every Rockabilly singer, Elvis impersonator, or retro enthusiast. Modern technology with excellent speech clarity and an absolutely rugged housing make the DM-66 a true highlight for eyes and ears.
Dynamic Vocal Microphone
If you think the DM-66 is all about looks, you’ll quickly change your mind: The DM-66 offers a balanced and present sound with a frequency response of 50 - 16,000 Hz, and the stable cardioid pattern provides excellent feedback rejection when using stage monitors. The completely silent on/off switch is clearly visible right on the microphone head. The microphone screws directly onto a stand, so the annoying search for the right mic clip is a thing of the past. Whether the stand has a 3/8" or 5/8" thread is no problem thanks to the included reducer thread.
Look and Feel of the 50s
Besides its sound qualities, this vintage microphone impresses especially with its classic 50s Rockabilly design. With its heavy die-cast housing, it’s a real treat for all retro and rock ’n’ roll fans!
Whether live on stage or in an American diner: The Pronomic DM-66 not only guarantees great sound and tons of fun but also spreads an irresistible 50s vibe. You’ll be thrilled!
Microphone Stand with Round Base
The MS-100 features a heavy cast iron base for a solid, steady stand. A rubber ring is integrated into the base to ensure an undisturbed stage performance without annoying slipping. Additionally, the ring suppresses the transmission of ambient noise to the mic stand. The extension allows a maximum height of 158 cm, making it suitable for taller singers.
Professional XLR Cable
The Stage Pro-Line cables use only oxygen-free copper. This ensures durable, consistent quality and protects against corrosion. The connectors are hand-soldered and equipped with strain relief clamping sleeves, so the solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from impact noise and electromagnetic interference, such as that generated by power supplies and power cables. This guarantees low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.
Pronomic DM-66 - You are always on my mind!

The finishing surpassed my expectations -
The color is nice and also the style.
One small issue was that we had to get an extra cable to connect the mike to our speaker.
Thanks a lot for this great product and if you had a blue one I’d like to get that one too!!

Since there are very good possibilities of sound adjustment with the T1, the result is very good.
Something disturbing is the susceptibility to shock when touching the microphone or stand.
In Gesamteindruch optics / sound the part performs well.

Questions about product
Question by Mariko Guillemant on 16.12.2020
Can I connect to an electric piano or a guitar amp? What is the cable necessary? Do you have a photo of the required connector?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Mostly it is 6,35 mm jack connector and the microphone is XLR female. But amps can also need XLR on both sides. It depends on the device where you want to plug it in. Here is a cable with jack and XLR: https://www.kirstein.de/Zubehoer-Mikrofonkabel/Pronomic-Stage-XFJ-5-Mikrofonkabel-XLR-Klinke-5-m-Schwarz.html - and here you have a cable with XLR on both sides: https://www.kirstein.de/Zubehoer-Mikrofonkabel/Pronomic-Stage-XFXM-5-Mikrofonkabel-XLR-5-m-Schwarz.html
Question by HENNEBERT on 15.07.2020
Hello. Do I need a fantom alimentation 48v to connect this micro on my hifi amplifier? Thanks
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The microphone is not suited for a hifi amplifier. You need to connect the mic to a proper mic preamp that utilizes phantom power for powering the mic. We also have these in our product range: https://www.kirstein.de/Preamps-Channelstrips/dbx-286S-Mikrofon-Vorverstaerker.html
