Besides the sonic advantages, the DM-59 bravely withstands the tough demands of stage use. The robust die-cast housing and sturdy metal grille optimally protect the diaphragm capsule from shocks, so occasional drops have no impact on the microphone’s functionality. The integrated windscreen in the grille also filters strong air movements like plosives ("B", "P", "T", etc.) or wind noise right from the start.
The DM-59 package already includes a suitable mic stand adapter with 5/8" thread, a 5m XLR cable, and a padded molded case.

The DM-59 is ideal as a micro that guests can hold in their hands. It feels good in the hand and is robust. Switch works great.
Acoustically really good, transmits the voice very clearly and has little tendency to feedback. There is enough reserve for making adjustments on the mixing console.
Of course, the handle noise is still perceptible, but this phenomenon can also be found in the upper price segments.
