Balanced Sound
The DM-58-C features a very harmonious frequency response, ensuring excellent speech intelligibility and brilliance. Using an equalizer is generally hardly necessary. Its good transient response places vocals and speech clearly in the mix, and the integrated pop filter in the grille minimizes plosives (P, B, T, etc.) and wind noise upfront, often eliminating the need for a high-pass filter.
Optimal Feedback Protection
The cardioid pattern of the DM-58-C ensures the best possible performance on stage. Sound sources coming from the opposite direction are strongly suppressed. This reduces crosstalk to your own microphone and enables clean signal separation.

What Can I Connect the DM-58-C To?
As a dynamic microphone, the DM-58-C can be connected to any microphone input on mixers, active speaker boxes, audio interfaces, and other amplifiers. 48V phantom power is NOT required but does not harm the microphone. The microphone is not suitable for direct connection to a computer; a USB interface is necessary for that.
