The AKG P220 is an outstanding studio microphone for vocal and instrument recording. It delivers a balanced, warm sound. Singers with thin voices and stringed instruments especially benefit from the P220's sonic character — recordings sound fuller and warmer. Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, the P220 is ideal for close miking of individual instruments and vocalists. It isolates the source and reduces background noise. You can also mic guitar amps and drums thanks to the switchable pad.
The AKG P220 handles sound pressure levels up to 155 dB. Problematic footfall or low-frequency noise can be effectively suppressed with the switchable bass filter. Its all-metal housing makes the P220 particularly rugged and suitable for use on stage.
Pop Filter
The Pronomic PK-2 pop filter fits all common microphone stands. It features a double nylon screen with a flexible gooseneck. The 90° rotated angle bracket ensures universal mounting on any stand and provides excellent wind attenuation while maintaining superb sound transparency through the double nylon layer without coloring or reflection artifacts.
