The dynamic vocal microphone D7 guarantees high-end performance and refined sound for lead singers and speakers in the studio and on any stage. Thanks to AKG Acoustics’ patented laminated Varimotion technology, it handles heavy loads and sound pressure peaks under even the most demanding stage conditions. The D7 delivers a finely detailed sound very close to that of condenser microphones. At the same time, it offers the assertive sound of a dynamic microphone across all frequency ranges.

The integrated high-pass filter permanently suppresses any handling noise. A new design for the internal windscreen ensures high reliability in live use. The newly developed metallized dust filter allows uniform sound transmission to the diaphragm.

A vacuum-packed replacement internal windscreen simplifies swapping out the used windscreen and ensures crystal-clear sound for many years.

Microphone Stand

The MS-116 offers secure stability thanks to the block clamp with metal insert in the base. A block clamp is also located on the boom arm, allowing the boom to clamp reliably with minimal effort while protecting the tube. At the joint, a double rubber disc clamp with metal insert is mounted, enabling easy adjustment with little force while providing strong clamping power and minimal wear.

XLR Cable

Stage Pro-Line cables use only oxygen-free copper, ensuring durable, consistent quality and protection against corrosion. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature strain relief with clamping sleeves, so the solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from impact noise and electromagnetic interference, such as that generated by power supplies and power cables. This guarantees low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.
