The AKG Ara USB microphone guarantees the best possible sound for voices in online videos, podcasts, or music recordings. The Ara is a condenser microphone that connects easily via USB and offers high-resolution recordings in professional quality up to 24 Bit and 96 kHz.
The sophisticated arrangement of the two microphone capsules allows for various applications. The "Front" (cardioid) polar pattern is ideal when recording a single speaker or singer alone. With the "Front + Back" (omnidirectional) pattern, the AKG Ara captures multiple voices simultaneously or musicians spread out in a room.
At computers, the microphone is ready to use immediately as it works with current operating systems without additional drivers. For connection to Android devices, only an OTG adapter is needed, or for iOS devices, the Camera Kit. The AKG Ara then functions like an external sound card on the computer or smartphone. A headphone can also be connected directly to the microphone, allowing you to monitor your own voice or playbacks.
The microphone can be easily used with the included sturdy stand or standard microphone stands. An LED indicates when mute is activated. Thanks to simple operation, even inexperienced users can get started in no time. Whether interviews for podcasts, eSports teams, singer/songwriters, or YouTube videos: the AKG Ara impresses with crystal-clear sound quality and excellent speech intelligibility.
Comfortable Stereo Headphones
The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise stereo imaging. Naturally, the softly padded, wide headband is adjustable in length. The extension provides 12 steps on each side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two-axis swivels. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation. The integrated volume control on the cable is always within reach, simplifying use on PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug ensures excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is also included.
