RODE Lavalier GO - Condenser Lavalier Microphone!

A professional lapel microphone delivering broadcast-quality sound, perfectly matched to the compact Wireless GO wireless system. An ideal accessory for setups where the Wireless GO transmitter would be too prominent on camera. In this case, you connect the Lavalier GO to the microphone input of the Wireless GO module and simply use it as a pocket or belt transmitter.

Of course, the Lavalier GO can also be used with many other devices that have a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input and supply the necessary bias power (approx. 3 volts). Typical examples include notebooks, DSLR cameras, and mobile recorders.

For optimal recording results, attach the Lavalier GO with its alligator clip to the lapel, collar, or chest area of clothing. Often it makes sense to point the capsule downward, which can reduce unwanted breath noises and "hissing" sibilants.

Since the Lavalier GO has an omnidirectional capsule, meaning it is equally sensitive in all directions, it makes little sonic difference whether the capsule points up or down.

The special cable is Kevlar-reinforced and at 1.20 m long, sufficiently lengthy. The TRS mini jack plug has gold-plated contacts. You can also use the Lavalier GO with a smartphone by getting the optional RØDE adapter "SC4," which adapts the three-pole TRS plug of the Lavalier GO to the four-pole headset jack of the smartphone.

The Lavalier GO comes with a foam windscreen, alligator clip, and a small carrying pouch.
