The sE Electronics X1 A - Expansion Of The X1 Series And Outstanding Value For Money!
The X1 A studio condenser microphone sets the standard within its price class. It not only delivers first-rate sound quality and a wide dynamic range, but also impresses with high build quality and an attractive design. The balanced tonal character and the switchable filters enable a wide range of applications both in the studio and on stage.
The X1 A is a high-quality condenser microphone suited to a variety of studio applications—from vocals and acoustic instruments to drums. Thanks to its carefully selected capsule and high-quality electronics, it delivers uncolored sound and a straightforward, highly balanced frequency response.
The electronics, built from high-quality discrete components, together with the switchable attenuation filter provide a wide dynamic range, ensure clean handling of very high SPLs, and keep self-noise low. The switchable high-pass filter suppresses low-frequency disturbance (e.g., impact noise, rumble, or wind noise) and compensates the bass boost caused by the proximity effect at close microphone distances. This enables close-miking of many instruments such as electric guitars, brass instruments, and drums. High reliability for demanding stage use is ensured by the robust metal construction and stringent production standards.
The completely new acoustic design, the hand-selected condenser capsule, and the low-noise electronics guarantee the best possible sound quality in its class. Gold-plated contacts, a high-quality, rugged metal housing, switchable attenuation and bass filters, a completely redesigned stand adapter, and an integrated windscreen complete the new X1 A.
