The WA-47jr is the transformerless FET version of the WA47. It’s fully discrete, offers 3 polar patterns, and is designed for professional recording studios as well as home studio, live, and broadcast applications.
The capsule used is the WA-47-B-80v from the top model. The WA-47jr’s discrete circuit employs high-quality Toshiba FETs, Wima film capacitors, and Panasonic electrolytic capacitors. This creates a harmonious package perfect for capturing great-sounding recordings of vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, acoustic/electric basses, drums, piano, strings, and brass instruments.
