DMX Motor for Large Mirror Balls - Safety, Precision and Control!
This DMX-controllable mirror ball motor can carry loads up to 40 kg. That corresponds to a mirror ball of about 100 cm diameter including a 12x safety factor. Rotation direction and speed are adjustable, letting you create slow or more dynamic effects. These look especially striking when you additionally illuminate the mirror ball with a pin-spot.
Besides DMX control, the safety motor can also be programmed in Standalone mode using the DIP switches. For larger lighting installations you can link multiple safety motors and run them synchronized in master/slave operation — conveniently without external control.
The motor features a patented mechanical fall arrest to prevent unintended release of the shaft, as well as the required second eye for attaching the safety chain. Every production batch undergoes the strictest quality controls. This qualifies the motor for use in nightclubs and at all other public events. The MD-3030 is delivered ready to connect with a mains cable and grounded plug.
