DMX Rotating Motor for Disco Balls with Forward & Reverse!
The DMX-controlled mirror ball motor MD-2030 DMX from Eurolite can carry loads up to 10 kg. This corresponds to a mirror ball about 50 cm in diameter including a 12-fold safety factor. The rotation direction and speed are adjustable, allowing for smooth or faster effects. These come into their own especially when you additionally illuminate the mirror ball with a pin-spot.
Besides DMX control, the safety motor can also be programmed in standalone mode using the DIP switches. For larger lighting installations, you can also link multiple safety motors and operate them synchronously in master/slave mode—conveniently without external control.
The motor features a patented mechanical fall protection against accidental axle release as well as the required second eyelet for attaching the safety chain. All Eurolite safety motors comply with the safety standard DIN EN ISO 12100 and the accident prevention regulation BGV C1 (DGUV Regulation 17).
Each production batch undergoes the strictest quality controls. This allows the motor to be used in nightclubs and all other public events. The MD-2030 is delivered ready to connect with a power cable and protective earth plug.
