Use as Player and Controller
Beginners and users who want to run light shows with minimal effort and no steep learning curve benefit from the Easy Show's preprogrammed shows: the scope of delivery includes a USB stick with 12 colors and 24 shows already fully programmed. It's compatible with more than 120 different Eurolite lighting effects and fixtures, including 19 KLS systems, 13 moving heads and over 70 spots. Shows can run to the beat of the music or at a manually adjustable speed. You can set the desired brightness, there's a strobe mode and crossfades are supported. Only the start address and the DMX mode need to be configured.
Use as Recorder
On the other hand, rental companies also benefit from the compact DMX recorder — because you can of course load the unit with your own programs and shows. This is ideal wherever an experienced lighting technician creates individual programs and shows on another controller and then records them onto the Easy Show. Recalling the programs is completely uncomplicated and can be explained to any customer in a few seconds. Easy Show is a full DMX recorder with 36 program slots where shows can be stored either as timed sequences or as step-by-step variants. The menu also lets you define for the entire DMX universe which DMX channels should respond to dim functions and which should not. This option is especially useful for installations in the hospitality sector, where staff can then recall stored shows.

In addition to the usual DMX and power connections, Easy Show offers 2 USB ports. One port is used for the USB stick that holds the stored shows. Shows are always saved on a USB stick, not internally in the controller. That way you can easily create different setups or pull a backup out of a drawer. The other USB port is intended for Eurolite's wireless QuickDMX system. With a USB transceiver you can quickly upgrade the unit to operate with wireless DMX.
