The NUX B-7PSM is a wireless in-ear monitoring system featuring automatic RF environment scanning, a 5.8 GHz interference-free transmission frequency, and 24 bit / 40 kHz high-quality stereo audio transmission. It quickly finds a free radio channel and assigns it automatically. The B-7PSM offers an ultra-low latency of less than 5.5 ms and has a range of 30 m (line of sight). It’s a super lightweight, wireless mini compact system to clip on and take anywhere. The TX features a 3.5 mm stereo jack (including adapter to 6.3 mm) and transmits broadcast-quality audio signals digitally at 5.8 GHz to the compact RX. The RX’s clip design easily attaches to your shirt, belt, or guitar strap. And with the latest automatic frequency hopping technology, the B-7PSM stays reliable and stable while you perform on stage.

Easy to Use

Simply power on both wireless units (TX & RX), and the connection is established within seconds. Each wireless device has a unique pairing algorithm, automatically recognizes each other, and configures its own IDs. The signal does not interfere with other wireless devices, including WiFi signals.

Loud Stereo Headphone Preamp

Connect the TX to a live or monitor mixing console and power it on (the LED indicator lights green). Then connect your in-ear headphones to the RX and power it on to pair with the TX. The LED indicator stays solid green. Now it’s ready to use. You can adjust the RX volume with the + and - buttons in 0.5 dB steps. Maximum volume is 0 dB and minimum volume is -64 dB. Holding down the + or - button lets you quickly raise or lower the volume.

The B-7PSM provides stereo audio transmission, making it perfect for working with professional mixing consoles to distribute stage mixes exactly how you want during rehearsals and live shows. It delivers premium sound quality with a dynamic range of 92 dBA and a frequency response of 20 - 19 kHz.

Although the B-7PSM is a stereo IEM solution, you can also use it in a mono environment if needed. Simply use a 6.3 mm mono to 6.3 mm stereo adapter (to split the mono signal from one output to both channels of the B-7PSM’s stereo input), and you’ll get a mono signal audible in both left and right channels.

Notes

If pairing multiple B-7PSM systems, please power on one device first, pair it, then power on the others one by one.

For best results, place the transmitter at least 1 meter above the floor, 2 meters away from Wi-Fi routers and wall or metal surfaces to minimize reflections.

Briefly press the RX power button to return to the default volume setting. It may be too loud if your in-ear headphones are very sensitive. Please lower the mixer volume and increase it carefully.

It’s recommended to use headphones or in-ear monitors with an impedance between 16 and 32 ohms for optimal sound experience.

The B-7PSM was designed for band rehearsals and live performances, focusing on the best possible stereo experience. It may not be suitable for quiet practice at home.
