The NTH-100 was completely redesigned from the ground up, ergonomically shaped to perfection, and looks outrageously good. For an optimal fit, the ear cups can be precisely slid along the headband and then comfortably locked in place with the innovative FitLok closure. The headphones use pair-matched 40 mm neodymium drivers (Custom Matched) that guarantee color- and distortion-free playback.
Durability was a key focus during development. The rustproof spring steel headband was tested over 20,000 times under extreme pressure, equivalent to about 25 years of daily use. The connecting cable between the two ear cups features four strain relief points and is rated for over 25 kg of tension; the connection cable and sockets on the ear cups can withstand 12 kg without damage.
The memory foam ear pads covered with luxurious Alcantara provide outstanding wearing comfort. The CoolTech gel integrated into the ear pads also ensures pleasant cooling from the very first second—ideal for long sessions! The NTH-100 offers a firm yet always comfortable and, above all, consistent clamping force: essential for accurate frequency response and maximum noise isolation.
The NTH-100 features single-sided cable routing. The cable can be connected on either the left or right side; both ear cups have a 3.5 mm jack with bayonet lock. Large "L" and "R" markings inside the ear cups, a red marking ring on the right cup, and corresponding Braille markings on the outside leave no doubt which side is right and which is left.
The NTH-100 package includes a detachable 2.4 m connection cable, a 3.5 mm to 6.35 mm screw adapter, a carrying pouch, and a set of colored cable ID rings.
