Added features include a replaceable Mini-XLR cable and newly designed ear pads that ensure the usual highest wearing comfort. The STELLAR.45 transducer, developed and produced locally in Heilbronn, delivers the proven beyerdynamic sound with unprecedented performance in the studio headphone class. This is due to a strong neodymium magnet and a voice coil made of copper-plated high-tech wire. The trade-off between conductivity and weight of the wire is unique. Combined with the newly developed three-layer speaker diaphragm with integrated damping layer, this creates a highly efficient driver system that performs well on all playback devices.

The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil and ensures it remains securely positioned in the magnetic gap even at high excursions. Another advantage is the wide and natural frequency response. The driver’s quick response and detailed transient reproduction, enabled by the low coil weight, ensure a consistently reliable and distortion-free sound even at high sound pressure levels.
