The AKG K240 MKII is a semi-open studio headphone with over-ear ear pads. It’s versatile for recording, live productions, and mixing.

The very natural bass response comes from the headphone’s semi-open design. Because the housing lets sound pass outward, bass sounds more open and less compressed than with closed headphones. Additionally, semi-open headphones sufficiently shield the ear from disturbing external noise and provide better heat exchange.
Thanks to its low weight and soft ear pads, the AKG K240 MKII offers very high wearing comfort. The pleasantly soft ear pads don’t press on the ears and are barely noticeable when worn. For a perfect fit, the headband automatically adjusts to the head. The ear pads are removable and can be easily cleaned with water.
The AKG K240 MKII’s headphone cable is detachable and can be replaced anytime.
With its low impedance and high sensitivity, the AKG K240 MKII is also suitable for mobile playback devices (smartphones) and USB interfaces.
