While the maximum acceptable latency (playback delay) for most professional musicians is around 10 milliseconds, the YH-WL500 achieves ultra-high-speed transmission of a signal in under 4 milliseconds. That enables a wireless playing experience that is virtually indistinguishable from wired performance — a level of responsiveness that was previously not possible with many Bluetooth headphones (which can have latencies of up to 200 milliseconds).
